A sex offender who used to live in Cayuga County is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly failing to inform authorities that he changed addresses.
The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Friday that deputies opened an investigation late last year into Thomas J. Dolan, 43, of Saugerties, where he moved from Sennett.聽
The sheriff's office said that Dolan did not file his change of address, update his photo, appear for two of his 90-day address verifications or verify his address in writing with the Division of Criminal Justice Services, all in violation of the聽New York State Sex Offender Registry Act.
